EMBODIED LAND ECSTATIC 2017

New work in development. A photo based exploration centred on reclaiming the Black female nude and locating the Black female body in the Canadian landscape and dominant visual culture. Exploring themes of Black joy, identity, reclamation, mysticism and embodied elated resistance.
