impossible longing : video installation

Delving into video performance art work to explore place, reclamation, ritual, belonging and the absurb. I become a somewhat comical character who is trying to understand Blacklessness in the Canadian landscape by placing my mixed race body back into the land. To become it, to know it, to be accepted by it. Attempting to grasp something continually out of reach.
